Abstract

Occlusal splints are described as “Any removable artificial occlusal surface affecting the relationship of the mandible to the maxilla used for diagnosis or therapy. Prosthodontic management of Temporomandibular joint disorders (TMDs) has been a controversial topic. The purpose of this article is to make prosthodontists aware about use and significance of splints in dealing with temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) the by usage of easy and less difficult remedy.
